Great Expectations

German comedian Henning Wehn delights in making his fellow countrymen the butt of his jokes. When the question “What’s the worst thing you could overhear being said about you?” was posed on 8 Out of 10 Cats, I loved his response: “Oh, the worst thing a German could hear about himself is that he isn’t very efficient”.

Joking aside, I’ve just come back from a weekend in Hannover looking at system-built houses, and was stunned at just how seductive efficiency can be. When dealing with people who are that efficient it really does inspire your confidence and trust.

If confidence and trust are big factors when customers decide who to do business with, maybe your efficiency is worth taking a look at.
